WHAT IS IT?
Rockin’ Rhythms is a group music class for babies and toddlers accompanied by a parent or caregiver. In Rockin' Rhythms we use a variety of exercises to teach rhythms, some using sticks and shakers but others just using tapping, clapping or moving arms and legs. We also sing songs and incorporate movement.

WHY TEACH RHYTHM TO BABIES AND TODDLERS?
Babies and toddlers are ready to learn through exposure and repetition. Starting young will ingrain rhythms in them and facilitate learning to play an instrument in the future. Besides musical development, teaching rhythms to your child will help with concentration and attention span as well as (future) language and math skills.

HOW BIG ARE THE CLASSES?
Class size is restricted to 5 to 10 parents with their accompanying children.

HOW LONG ARE CLASSES?
Each music class will be 30 minutes once a week for four weeks.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The cost is $125 per child for the four weeks. There is a $25 discount for additional siblings.
