REGISTRATION FEE
A one-time registration fee of $100 will be charged to new students. The registration fee is due on your first lesson.

TUITION
All lessons are weekly and tuition is paid monthly. Tuition is due at the first lesson of each month. Tuition rates do not change during summer or months with holidays (see below). We accept checks, cash and Venmo. If a check is returned, a $25 fee will be charged in addition to the regular tuition.

PUNCTUALITY
Please arrive on time to get the most out of your lesson. Extra time cannot be given for students who arrive late, as that would infringe on other lessons. If you are dropping your child off for lessons, please return promptly to pick him/her up.

SICKNESS
If your child has a fever or symptoms of illness the day before his/her lesson, please keep your child at home. We do not wish to spread illness. Discounts will not be made for missed lessons. If your child misses a lesson, he/she may attend a group make-up lesson typically held on the last Friday of the month.

HOLIDAYS
Let’s Rock Music School will be closed for the following days:

Occasion 2024
Spring Break March 11-15
Maundy Thursday  March 28
Good Friday March 29
Memorial Day May 27
Independence Day July 4
Labor Day September2
Thanksgiving November 25-29
Christmas/New Year December 24-January 1
2 Weeks During the Year (To be determined)

School tuition will remain the same during these closings. Tuition is based on 4 lessons per month. However, there are 52 weeks in a year, not 48. So, there are 4 times during the year when any given day of the week will occur 5 times in a month. Thus, students will receive 5 lessons that month rather than the normal 4. These 4 extra lessons make up for the 4 weeks a year that Let’s Rock Music School will be closed. Students who miss lessons due to a closing may attend a group make-up lesson.

PRACTICE
Without practicing at home, students CANNOT improve. Students and their parents must be willing to commit to practicing. Students under age 8 are required to practice for a minimum of 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Students age 8 and above are required to practice for a minimum of 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Practice time may be divided up during the day if necessary. Also, if a day of practice is missed two practices may be done in one day. This is just the minimum amount of practice required. If students want to advance faster, they will need to practice more. If students are found to be unwilling to practice and thus unable to advance, we reserve the right to discontinue lessons.

CONCERTS
We believe concerts are a great opportunity for students to prepare and perform. There will be a minimum of two concerts per year. There may be more opportunities for concerts for those students who are advancing. Students who are not advancing enough to play in a concert will be required to join a PRACTICE LIKE A PRO summer camp before playing in a concert. For additional concerts, a $25-35 fee will be charged.

CANCELLATION
If we have to cancel your lesson, we will schedule an alternate time with you for a make-up lesson. If you miss an agreed upon alternate lesson, another will not be given.

MAKE-UP LESSONS
If your child misses a lesson, he/she may attend a group make-up lesson from 9:30-10 a.m., 5:30-6 p.m. or 6-6:30 p.m. typically on the last Friday of the month (this date may differ due to holidays). During the summer, two make-up lessons per month are offered to accommodate for vacations. Please let us know if your child plans to attend a group make-up lesson. Monthly tuition will not be discounted due to missed lessons.

SUMMER
Students who stop lessons during the summer will return as new students and be charged the registration fee and the current rate of tuition. There is no guarantee of lesson space/time for students who stop lessons. Students may be put on a waiting list if they stop lessons for a time.

MEDIA RELEASE
Let’s Rock Music School reserves the right to use photos and video of students for promotional purposes. We will let you know before media of your child is used. If you do not wish media of your child to be used for promotional purposes due to special circumstances, please let us know.
